Who is Kalz?
Kalz is a proud spin-off from Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin), built on pioneering research developed within the university. Kalz advances breakthrough technologies for permanent CO2 storage in concrete while producing low-carbon supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs).
The company emerged from the VIP+ validation funding program of the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) (Grant No. 03VP11410), which supported the scientific validation and development of the core technology at TU Berlin.
